Located in Jalan Pintu Sepuluh,105c Coffeehaus is one of the latest spots to chill out in Alor Setar. 105c Coffeehaus stands out as compared to other restaurants and cafes due to its striking modern red-brick double-storey building, spacious environment, and relaxed vibe. It's easy to locate this place, just drive along the main road of Jalan Pintu Sepuluh and you will find this place right next to Starcity Hotel. Food-wise, they offer a variety of Western foods with desserts and gelato. Probably due to the first few days' jitters, the service quality is below par and has room for improvements.

Founded in 2019, Rutin (樂田 - 中西料理) is one of the restaurants that serve Asian and Western dishes located at Sentral Jaya, Bukit Mertajam, Penang. The restaurant is designed with a modern setting, wooden cabinet, black marble tables, and leather-comfortable chairs... fully air-conditioned. Menu-wise, the restaurant features a variety of Asian and Western dishes that make it perfectly suited to the whole family members.

Spoon Cafe is a cafe nested at Level 2 of G Hotel Kelawai. The design of the cafe is reminiscent of a French bistro with a touch of Peranakan elements... the wooden dining tables and chairs, and aesthetic circus pendant lights giving sophistication to the ambiance. The unobstructed mountain view from the french windows surrounding the cafe provides a relaxing and comfortable ambiance as well.

Dede Moda Restaurant @ Alor Setar, Kedah [GPS]

Although Hong Kong foods are not something new in Malaysia but the love of Malaysians for Hong Kong foods are still increasing and there are more and more Hong Kong style restaurants opened in Malaysia. Nevertheless, in Alor Setar, there are only 2 Hong Kong Style Restaurants and Dede Moda （潮）Restaurant is one of the two. To suit the theme, the restaurant's interior is designed with the bold Hong Kong old-school elements...  it exudes nice rustic vibes as you can see from the old wall posters and traditional cutlery.

[Updated] Hidden Gem in Langkawi: Smiling Buffalo Cafe @ Kuala Cenang, Langkawi [GPS]

Smiling Buffalo Cafe is a hidden gem, among the lush greeneries and serene environment. It's a jungle-like rustic laid-back cafe located at Panji Panji Boutique Resort at Kuala Cenang; tucked away from the bursting main streets and tourist spots... it would be quite difficult to find for the non-locals. Albeit it's quite near to the hustle Cenang Beach, but both places have totally the different ambiance. At here, you can literally hear the birds with the soft breeze on your face, and the smell of fresh air, soil, and greens. For the city dweller like me, I'm really fascinated by this peacefulness and relaxed vibe brought by mother nature. Hence, I'll definitely pay a visit during my holiday in Langkawi. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that it's the best restaurant in town.

Scarborough Fish and Chips Restaurant @ Tanjung Rhu, Langkawi [GPS]

Scarborough Fish and Chips Restaurant is a western restaurant that well-known with the traditional English style fish and chips in Langkawi. Although the restaurant is located at Tanjung Rhu, which is quite far away from tourist hot spots, but it's easily recognizable with its humble blue-hued home cum restaurant. The ambiance of Scarborough is great with the unobstructed view of Andaman sea. I visit the restaurant late and missed the timing for sunset but the sound of the wave hitting the shore is really satisfying. I bet the sunset view is stunning by the evening while dining in. 

Scarborough Fish and Chips Restaurant餐厅是一家在兰卡威的西餐厅，以传统的英式Fish and Chips而闻名。 虽然餐厅位于Tanjung Rhu，距离旅游热点较远的地方，但是它蓝色家的庭餐厅很容易识别。 Scarborough的氛围非常棒，享有安达曼海一览无余的美景。 我很晚才到餐厅，错过了日落的时间，但海浪冲击海岸的声音真的很令人满意。 我敢肯定，傍晚用餐的话，日落美景会令人惊叹的。

Penang Aesthetically Pleasing Forest-Themed Cafe: Kafka @ Jalan Kelawai, Penang 槟城森林系Cafe [GPS]

Kafka, a cafe located on the bustling Jalan Kelawai, Penang. Nevertheless, it can easily be missed as it is tucked behind the flying club (rear of bungalow no. 15). With its quaint interior design along with the plants set around the store, Kafka might be one of the most relaxing cafes in Penang and make you feel like out of the city. On the menu, Kafka offers a wide range of Western meals, from toast to the pancake, pasta, sandwich, and some bites.

Harvest Times Cafe @ Irrawaddy Road, Penang [GPS]

Harvest Times Cafe is the branch of Harvest In Cafe that located just a stone throw away from Harvest In Cafe to accommodate their ever-expanding customer base and also there is a quite big parking space in front of the cafe. Hence, it becomes easier for the customer to find the parking. Also, there is more dining space at Harvest Times Cafe as compared to Harvest In Cafe. Pricing-wise, I thought it's reasonable because the portion is quite big.

Harvest Times Cafe是Harvest In Cafe为了适应不断扩大的客户群而开的分店，距离Harvest In Cafe仅一小段的距离。咖啡厅前面还有一个相当大的停车位。因此，客户能更容易找到停车位。此外，与Harvest In Cafe相比，Harvest Times Cafe有更多的用餐空间。定价方面，我认为这是合理的，因为份量蛮大。

Morganfield's @ Queensbay Mall, Penang [GPS]

Morganfield's is not new and no stranger to the Penangites as it had established for years in Gurney Paragon (business has ceased trading recently) and Queensbay Mall. The restaurant is particularly famous for their Signature Pork Rib. Thus, whenever I'm craving for the pork rib, Morganfield's pork rib will definitely be my first choice.
