Summer Dessert Bakery which is a Penang based bakery had finally opened its first in Alor Setar today (01 October 2019), which named Summer Dessert Bakery Cafe. What I like about this Summer Dessert Bakery Cafe is that it’s the one-stop cafe where you could get almost anything from freshly baked bread to cake, sandwich, pastry, dessert, pie, coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner under one roof. It's also one of my favourite bakeries in Penang because of its wide variety of choices and its strategic location.

Once step into this shop, you will be welcomed by the aroma of freshly baked bakeries and brewed coffee. Although without any luxurious design but its simple decor with modern wooden furniture has provided the customers with a comfortable space.
当你一走进店里时，就会闻到新鲜出炉的面包房味和咖啡的香气。 虽然没有任何豪华的设计，但其简单的装潢和现代木制家具为客户提供了舒适的空间。
However, due to its soft opening, the choices of the bread and dessert would be relatively less as compared to other stores. Nevertheless, I still bought myself some bread, pastries, and cakes, as well as its Signature Bubble Milk Tea.
然而，由于还在试营期间，这里卖的面包和甜点与其他分店相比会相对的少。 尽管如此，我还是买了一些面包，糕点和蛋糕，以及店里招牌的珍珠奶茶。
I'm really fancy the Croissant and "Strawberry Custard Puff Pastry"? here because the croissant is soft and tastes good with a touch of butter aroma. While for the "Strawberry Custard Puff Pastry", it's tempting because of its crispy crust that stuffed with the right amount of custard and a big strawberry on top.
我真的很喜欢这里的可颂和“草莓奶油酥”？ 因为可颂真的很松软，而且还带有一丝的黄油香气，味道很好。 至于“草莓奶油酥”，它的诱人之处在于其酥脆的外皮中加上了适量的卡仕达和大草莓。
Apart from that, in spite that I've been told that the Cheese Foam has not yet arrived in store, but I still tried it because I couldn't resist the "Green Tea" stuff. Haha :) The Green Tea Milk Cheese Foam Black Pearl I tried is quite tasty... the black pearl is soft and chewy with a bold taste of brown sugar.

In a nutshell, I believe Summer Dessert Bakery Cafe might be the most popular bakery cafe in town because there's no new bakery opened in Alor Setar for many years... not to mention Summer Dessert Bakery is not just a usual grab and go bakery but a cafe that served delectable comfort foods and beverages with the wallet-friendly price.
