Dede Moda Restaurant @ Alor Setar, Kedah [GPS]

Although Hong Kong foods are not something new in Malaysia but the love of Malaysians for Hong Kong foods are still increasing and there are more and more Hong Kong style restaurants opened in Malaysia. Nevertheless, in Alor Setar, there are only 2 Hong Kong Style Restaurants and Dede Moda （潮）Restaurant is one of the two. To suit the theme, the restaurant's interior is designed with the bold Hong Kong old-school elements...  it exudes nice rustic vibes as you can see from the old wall posters and traditional cutlery.

虽然香港美食对于马来西亚人并不是新事物，但他们对香港美食的热爱仍在增加，香港餐厅也开得越来越多。 然而，在亚罗士打，只有2家港式餐厅，而Dede Moda（潮）餐厅则是其中之一。 为了符合其主题，餐厅的室内设计采用了大胆的香港老派元素... 从古老的墙壁海报和传统餐具中散发着质朴的氛围。

Menu-wise, there's a wide range of food choices available in the restaurant. From Hong Kong snacks and desserts to Western Foods, Vegan Foods, Porridge, Chinese Zhu Char and so on. Nevertheless, there is a limited choice of Hong Kong food on the menu. For example, Hong Kong Style Butter Toast, Curry Fish Balls, Curry Cuttle Fish, and Fake Fin Soup.

菜单方面，餐厅提供各种美食选择。 从香港小吃和甜点到西餐，素食，粥，煮炒等。 不过，菜单上的香港食物选择有限。 例如，港式西多士，咖喱鱼丸，港式生炒鱿鱼和碗仔翅。

Besides Hong Kong foods, some of their Chinese dishes such as their Signature (Black) Chicken Rice, Ginger & Scallion Chicken Rice, Fried Rice Vermicelli and Fried Dumplings taste good too. In addition, as a Chinese Restaurant, Grilled Chicken Chop and Oriental Chicken Chop served by Dede Moda are surprisingly great as well.
