Scarborough Fish and Chips Restaurant @ Tanjung Rhu, Langkawi [GPS]

Scarborough Fish and Chips Restaurant is a western restaurant that well-known with the traditional English style fish and chips in Langkawi. Although the restaurant is located at Tanjung Rhu, which is quite far away from tourist hot spots, but it's easily recognizable with its humble blue-hued home cum restaurant. The ambiance of Scarborough is great with the unobstructed view of Andaman sea. I visit the restaurant late and missed the timing for sunset but the sound of the wave hitting the shore is really satisfying. I bet the sunset view is stunning by the evening while dining in. 

Scarborough Fish and Chips Restaurant餐厅是一家在兰卡威的西餐厅，以传统的英式Fish and Chips而闻名。 虽然餐厅位于Tanjung Rhu，距离旅游热点较远的地方，但是它蓝色家的庭餐厅很容易识别。 Scarborough的氛围非常棒，享有安达曼海一览无余的美景。 我很晚才到餐厅，错过了日落的时间，但海浪冲击海岸的声音真的很令人满意。 我敢肯定，傍晚用餐的话，日落美景会令人惊叹的。

The restaurant has two al fresco dining areas... diners can either opt to dine on the tables provided with a roof providing ample shade or either just right on the sandy beaches of Tanjung Rhu. Since we reach late so we just dine on the marble table as the beach is quite dark during that time but we still able to enjoy the pleasant sea breeze while having our dinner.

餐厅有两个户外用餐区......用餐者可以选择在带有屋顶的桌子上用餐，或者就直接在Tanjung Rhu的沙滩上用餐。 由于我们很迟才到达，所以我们就只在大理石桌上用餐，因为在那段时间海滩非常黑暗但我们仍然能够在享用晚餐的同时享受宜人的海风。

Our first choice is definitely the Signature Fish and Chips. It's simply superb. The fish is fried till golden brown perfection... the batter is light and aromatic and the fish inside is firm, not watery. In addition, the fries that come along are cut and freshly made by Scarborough... not the frozen fries. I personally dote on this crispy thick-cut fries because the texture tastes like a fluffy mashed potato, not flaky like the frozen fries.

我们的第一选择绝对是招牌的Fish and Chips。 它真的太美味了。金黄色的外皮香脆，里面的鱼厚实，不含水。 此外，这里的薯条是由Scarborough新鲜制作......不是冷冻薯条。 我个人很喜欢吃因为它很香脆，质地味道像蓬松的土豆泥，不像冷冻薯条那样片状的。

Besides that, we ordered the Grilled Chicken Chop too. Surprisingly, the grilled chicken chop is as good as the fish. The grilled chicken chop is topped with the black pepper sauce, side with the thick cut fries and salad. It's a good choice if you're looking for something other than fish and chips. 

除此之外，我们也点了烤鸡排。 令人惊讶的是，烤鸡排和招牌Fish and Chips一样美味。 烤鸡排配上黑胡椒酱，旁边是厚厚的炸薯条和沙拉。 如果你想吃鱼以外的食物，这是一个很好的选择。
