Located at Taman Perindustrian Mergong, behind Grand Alora Hotel, Restaurant Cha Kee (茶记) attempts to bring in the local dining experience of Hong Kong Cha Chan Teng (coffee shop) with the entire place transforming into Hong Kong-styled coffee shop, serving a wide range of Hong Kong local delights. Due to the eclectic yet extensive menu of Hong Kong foods, that's a reason why Malaysians love Hong Kong foods so much. As we expect, the menu features the typical Egg Noodles Soup, Cheese Baked Rice, Pork Burger, Fried Noodles and some other Hong Kong street foods. The prices are in mid-range. While taste-wise, the foods aren't as impressive as we hoped... there are rooms for improvement.

4Fingers Crispy Chicken @ Aman Central, Alor Setar, Kedah [GPS]

Singapore homegrown Korean Fried Chicken brand, 4Fingers Crispy Chicken has finally reached Alor Setar, Kedah. It's such a piece of great news for Alor Setarian, you can now get it at 4th Floor, Aman Central... just right beside GSC cinema. Over the years, the brand has been receiving great response across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia. Albeit the brand is not originated from Korea, but the brand is specialised in the Korean Fried Chicken and it is said to serve the best and authentic Korean-influenced Chickens ever.

Revisit Oiso Korean Traditional Cuisine & Cafe at Aman Central, Alor Setar after half year since my first visit. Oiso Korean Traditional Cuisine & Cafe can be considered as a good spot to fix your craving for Korean Foods in Alor Setar because there are only a few Korean Cuisines in the town. Instead of specialising in a certain Korean local dishes, Oiso provides a wide range of home-cooked Korean dishes in the restaurant. Hence, all the meals are provided in a set. Since I've been tried Korea Black Bean Noodles (짜장면) and Tteokbokki (떡볶이) during my first visit, so I decided to try something else.

自从半年前Oiso刚开张的时候第一次试过以后，这是我第二次访问Oiso。Oiso Korean Traditional Cuisine & Cafe在亚罗士打可以被认为是一间能够解决你对韩国美食渴望的地方，因为在亚罗士打的韩国餐馆少之又少。Oiso提供各种家常韩国料理，而不是专门供应某韩国当地菜肴。 因此，所有的餐点都是属于套餐。 在我第一次访问Oiso是，我已试过韩国炸酱面（짜장면）和辣炒年糕（떡볶이），所以我决定尝试别的菜肴。

Dede Moda Restaurant @ Alor Setar, Kedah [GPS]

Although Hong Kong foods are not something new in Malaysia but the love of Malaysians for Hong Kong foods are still increasing and there are more and more Hong Kong style restaurants opened in Malaysia. Nevertheless, in Alor Setar, there are only 2 Hong Kong Style Restaurants and Dede Moda （潮）Restaurant is one of the two. To suit the theme, the restaurant's interior is designed with the bold Hong Kong old-school elements...  it exudes nice rustic vibes as you can see from the old wall posters and traditional cutlery.

虽然香港美食对于马来西亚人并不是新事物，但他们对香港美食的热爱仍在增加，香港餐厅也开得越来越多。 然而，在亚罗士打，只有2家港式餐厅，而Dede Moda（潮）餐厅则是其中之一。 为了符合其主题，餐厅的室内设计采用了大胆的香港老派元素... 从古老的墙壁海报和传统餐具中散发着质朴的氛围。

Unkaizan Japanese Restaurant (云海山日本料理) @ Pantai Tengah, Langkawi [GPS]

Unkaizan Japanese Restaurant (云海山日本料理) is a family Japanese restaurant opened by Chef Katsuji Takebayash. The restaurant is located at Pantai Tengah but a bit away from the main locality. Nevertheless, it's still famous among the tourists and locals as it has been rated as the best Japanese restaurant in Malaysia by Malaysia Tatler.

云海山日本料理是由Katsuji Takebayash厨师开设的家庭日本料理餐厅。 餐厅位于Pantai Tengah，但距离主要地区有点远。 尽管如此，它仍然以游客和当地人而闻名，因为它被马来西亚Tatler评为马来西亚最好的日本餐厅。

Idealite 品味舒食 @ Gurney Plaza, Penang [GPS]

Thai Shop @ Hutton Lane, Penang [GPS]

Thai Shop, a restaurant that served the traditional Thai street foods in Penang which owned by a Thai vendor. The restaurant was previously opened their business at small alley along Kimberly Street but now move to a better location along Hutton Lane.

Thai Shop是一家在槟城由泰国老板开的泰国餐厅。该餐厅之前在Kimberly Street的小巷里开业，但现在已搬到了Hutton Lane。

Thai Shop features an affordable but limited menu with a list of authentic Thai foods. Most main dishes are served with rice. The vendor brings cuisine from Thailand, all prepared with authentic taste using traditional ingredients.

Thai Shop提供了正宗且价格实惠的泰国美食，但是选择有限。大多数料理都是以米饭为主。店主提供的泰国美食均采用传统食材烹制而成。

Oiso Korean Traditional Cuisine & Cafe @ Aman Central, Alor Setar [GPS]

ツ [EN|中] Oiso is a new Korean restaurant in Alor Setar that served the traditional Korean foods. In Oiso, most of the meals come in the set, which including some Korean side dishes and some sets will come with the rice. In order to compare the foods I've been eaten in Korea, I ordered Black Beans Noodles (짜장면), the taste is mostly the same but saltier. However, the saltiness can be acceptable.
