Located at Ampang Business Centre, Yomie's Rice x Yogurt 有米酸奶 in Alor Setar is the second outlet in Kedah after its first opening at Riverfront City, Sungai Petani. The store has a warm and cozy ambiance with the pink walls and several of Yomie's iconic draws hanging on it.
While for the menu, though there's only the yogurt drink available in the store, but there are more than 20 choices of beverages that allow the customers to pick from. For example, Yomie's Purple Rice Yogurt, Yomie's Oat Yogurt, Acos! (Avocado Yogurt), Haw Purple Rice Yogurt, Mango Yogurt and so on. Since I've been tried the Purple Rice Yogurt before from the other brands, so as the red bean lover, I decided to try the Pure Red Bean Yogurt (RM 13.90) because I'm quite curious how will it taste like as compared to the red bean soup that I usually drink. Surprisingly, it does not taste weird and instead, I'm pretty satisfied with it. Firstly, the sweetness level is perfectly suited to my liking, the sourness of the yogurt goes amazingly with the sweetness of the red beans. Secondly, albeit the drink is smooth and creamy but it's not that thick. I absolutely love this texture so much.
