Chizu is a brand well-known for its Japanese Cheese beverages with the finest tea and coffee, while Honzu is specialised in creating a range of delectable croissants. The brand of Chizu & Honzu is the combination of both brands. It received a big welcome in Kuala Lumpur due to its premium beverage and foods. Surprisingly, Chizu & Honzu decided to start its first outlet in Alor Setar first in North Malaysia instead of Penang, the most urbanised state in which most branded products will launch its business.
Located at 4th Floor, Aman Central, Alor Setar, Chizu & Honzu is a quite comfortable cafe that you may take a rest and enjoy a cup of beverage and croissant after shopping. It was designed with a cozy and warm theme and furnished with wooden tables and grey seating.
You'll be greeted by a wide range of flavourful croissant that displays on the display counter on the left once you step inside the store, and the Oden hot pot can also be found beside it. It's a self-service cafe that you can choose your preferable foods with the tray and bowl provided beside and make the payment at the counter after picked.
The croissant provided by Chizu & Honzu is really impressed me because the croissants here serve in many unique flavours that I've never seen before. For example, Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, Cheddar Cheese, Japanese Cheese, Matcha, Red Velvet, Snowy Custard and so on. For my own liking, I totally fall in love with the Cheddar Cheese (RM 6.50) and Japanese Cheese (RM 6.50). Those flavours are perfectly matched with the flaky buttery croissants here.

Oden-wise, Chizu & Honzu also provides the clear broth and Tomyam broth for the diner to choose as like other brands did. The price starts from RM 3 for a bowl of soup and ONE stick of any Oden on your preference. In my opinion, albeit both the broths are pretty nice but the choices of Oden are relatively less.

Apart from that, you also should not miss out on the beverage here. As like other bubble milk tea brands, Chizu & Honzu also provides a wide range of choices, from the healthy yogurt series to the pearl tea series, cheese tea, fruit tea, hot tea, and coffee. I quite love the Purple Rice Yogurt (RM 12) that I ordered because it is not too thick and creamy. It's smooth and the sweetness is perfectly suited my liking.

Last but not least, Chizu & Honzu also offers an array of mouthwatering cakes and desserts. Such as Brownies, Flourless Chocolate Cake, Almond Tiramisu, Hazelnut Truffle and so on.
