HK Boy Cart Noodle 香港仔車仔麵 @ The One Mahsuri, Penang [GPS]

HK Boy Cart Noodle is the best place for whoever loves the Hong Kong delights. HK Boy Cart Noodle has 2 outlets in Penang nowadays, which are located at The One Mahsuri, Bayan Lepas and Beach Street. The interior design of both the outlets has a strong element of Hong Kong street but with air-conditioned space and comfortable seating. It's certainly my favourite spot to have Hong Kong dishes in Penang. I almost visit it twice a week because the foods here are tasty and there are a variety of choices available for me to choose from.

The food that you can definitely not miss out is this Signature Hong Kong Cart Noodles (车仔面), or also known as "Dirty Noodles" (嗱喳麵). Please mind it is named "Dirty Noodles" not because it's dirty foods... instead, the sauce/ broth of the noodles are mixed together with more than one flavours. Surprisingly the sauces are perfectly matched and delectable. Diners may choose to serve the HK Cart Noodles in the dry or soup version.

Apart from that, diners can also choose 2 or 3 side dishes from the mouthwatering sides dishes available here. Braised Chicken Wings, Lemongrass Pork Chop, Fried Bean Curd Skin, Bursting Meat Ball, and Prawn Brewed Soy Sheets are some of my favourite side dishes based on my preference. In addition, I would choose HK Egg Noodle (Add on RM 0.50) for the noodle because I love this kind of springy noodles.

Swiss Chicken Wings are also one of the foods that I'll definitely order at HK Boy Cart Noodle. The chicken wings are marinated well with the sauce, and the chicken taste so flavourful, tender and juicy. Besides that, you can also try the Curry Fish Balls serving here. The fishballs are so bouncing while the spiciness of the curry is acceptable.

Furthermore, the Polo Bun (Ice-fire Pineapple Bun) serving here is quite tasty too. The Polo Bun is made fresh in-store every day and baked on spot upon order. It's slightly crispy outside and soft inside. Whereas for the egg bubble waffle, it can be considered good as well. Nevertheless, I prefer it served in a more crispier texture.

Last but not least, the Imitation Fin Soup is also one of a common Hong Kong street food in Hong Kong. Although I've never been to Hong Kong and try the authentic Hong Kong Imitation Fin Soup before but I thought it's much and less similar to those we eat at the wedding dinner. I pretty love the Imitation Fin Soup serving here because it does not too thick and the saltiness is perfectly suited my liking. Moreover, the ingredients are generously given.
