The trend of Bubble Milk Tea did not show signs of slowing down in Alor Setar, there is more and more Bubble Milk Tea brand opening in the town recently, and Chatto Handcrafted Tea Bar is one of those brands. Located at Ground Floor, Ampang Business Centre, Chatto Handcrafted Tea Bar is one of the famous local bubble milk tea brands established in South Malaysia. It is the Japanese concept Tea Bar that serves a range of premium beverages, snacks, and bento.
As compared with the Penang store that I've been visited before, the store in Alor Setar is relatively smaller with only one floor but it still able to make the customers feel comfortable and relax with its simple wooden design.
Instead of drinks and foods that I've tried before, I decided to try something new at the Alor Setar outlet. (Review for the outlet in Penang) The Kee Mun Brown Sugar Pearl Pudding Milk Tea from the All-new brown sugar series is really awesome. The sweetness of the drink is perfectly suited to my liking... not too sweet and not too tasteless. The pudding on top is great as well. It is so smooth and creamy.
If you opt for some hot and healthy drinks, I would like to recommend the Black Sugar Ginger Tea (RM 6.90). The drink is made from the finest sliced ginger instead of the ginger powder. Hence, it tastes spicier. It's best to drink when you feel cold, indigestion and nausea. Highly recommended!
Apart from that, the reason that makes me keep visiting Chatto Handcrafted Tea Bar is that I can grab some foods here while enjoying my drink. The Kimchi Fried Chicken Sandwich (RM 11.90) that serving here is irresistible. The sandwich comes with the crispy thick fried chicken, kimchi, sliced cheese, lettuce, egg crepe, nacho cheese, and mayonnaise. It's really flavorful and delicious.
