CHATTO - Handcrafted Tea Bar is one of the popular milk tea brands in Malaysia and now it’s finally available in Penang. It's a Japanese concept Tea Bar that offers variety selection of handcrafted teas. CHATTO is fast expanding since its first opening in 2017 in Johor and now it has welcomed its 20th outlet in Penang.

In CHATTO, the premium tea that directly imports from Shizuoka Japan, Taiwan and China is using to ensure the good taste and quality of the beverage. Such as Organic Oolong, Hojicha and Kee Mun. In addition, CHATTO also provides a comfortable and relaxing space for the customer to enjoy their tea in the tea bar.

On top of that, CHATTO normally served the drinks with less sugar (including the black pearl bubble) to assure the customers enjoy in a more healthy way. It would be the best choice for those who prefer the reduced sugar beverages.

For example, the taste of the signatures drinks that we ordered - Charcoal Pearl Organic Oolong and Brown Sugar Pearl Latte would be quite light but not tasteless. However, I prefer the former to the latter because the drink tastes smooth with a hint of oolong aroma due to the right amount combination of the oolong and milk. Also, the attractive layering colors also make it one of the most Instagrammable drink in CHATTO.

For the Brown Sugar Pearl Latte, I thought it tastes normal to me, nothing much to shout over. Besides of that, we’d also ordered the Chocolate Custard Croissant Taiyaki, it doesn’t suit my liking because the chocolate custard just tastes like the plain chocolate sauce without any sugar (I thought it’s because CHATTO persists to serve the drinks and foods in a healthy way). I could have better somewhere else. Price-wise, I think it is average and fair with such a comfy and nice ambiance.

对于红糖珍珠拿铁，我觉得它对我来说很平常，没什么可说的。除此之外，我们还点了【巧克力鲷鱼烧】，它不符合我的喜好，因为巧克力的味道就像没有添加任何糖的普通巧克力酱（我认为这是因为CHATTO坚持提供饮料和食物健康的方式）。我可以在别处找到更好的。价格方面，我认为以这样的味道和舒适和良好的氛围来说，还算可以。
