Soy milk or soya milk is a traditional staple meal or beverage in Asia, especially in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore. Soy milk is considered as a healthy beverage because it is naturally free of cholesterol and low in saturated fat. It's a good source of low-fat and plant-based protein. Moreover, it's particularly suited for those who suffer lactose tolerance because it contains no lactose. Therefore, the demand for soy milk, as well as soybean curd (Tau Fu Fah) is continually growing in the market.

To meet the healthy pursuit of the consumers, SoyaTec (缘豆家) does not only adopt Japanese technology to produce soy milk but also features the various flavour of soy milk in the store apart from the original flavour. Such as Matcha, Black Sesame, Chocolate, and Coffee. I pretty love the soy milk served at SoyaTec because it's thick and creamy. Furthermore, the sweetness of the soy milk is also at the perfectly right level. Price-wise, I thought it would be slightly pricey as a bottle of soy milk (360ml) cost RM 5.50 for the original flavour and RM 7.50 for the Matcha flavour.

Other than that, the soybean curd (soy pudding) serving at SoyaTec is also a must-try item. Apart from the packed original flavour soybean curd, unsweetened soybean curd and Black Sesame Soy Bean Curd, SoyaTec also offers the soybean curd with various toppings, such as sweet peanut, red beans and mung beans. The texture of the soybean curd at SoyaTec is different as compared to the traditional one... the soybean curd here is slightly denser and firmer with a little grainier texture. Nevertheless, it tasted good overall, especially when it served chilled.
