钟汉元是怡保一家著名的饼铺。创始人于1949年从中国朝阳带着代代相传的传统食谱来到怡保开始营业。

为了确保手工饼干始终新鲜美味，钟汉元饼铺坚持使用高品质的原料来制作饼干。最重要的是，钟汉元的饼干通常味道较为清淡，因为它们使用材料天然的香味及甜味，而不是化学食品防腐剂。
There is a wide range of biscuits available in the shop, but their signature Meat Floss Lotus Paste Biscuits is the most famous and hot selling item. There are 4 flavours available in the store: Original, Pandan, Salted Egg Yolk and Barbecue. It's one of the Ipoh must buy local specialty.

The biscuit tastes good with the combination of the meat floss and lotus paste. The crust is thin and crispy and the stuffing is fresh and not too sweet. It's simply delicious.
这肉丝莲蓉饼主要的材料使肉松和莲蓉。这两种材料的混合使得饼干的味道非常好。 它的饼皮薄而脆，馅料很新鲜，也不太甜， 味道真的很不错。
