Chewling Chua: After You Dessert Cafe @ Central Festival, Hat Yai, Thailand [GPS]

After You is a dessert cafe that needs no further introduction. It's not just a brand, neither a cafe... it's instead an icon for Bangkok. It's the dessert cafe that well-known for its signature desserts such as Shibuya Honey Toast, Kakigori, and Pancake. Since its first cafe opened in 2007, the brand has about 30 outlets around Bangkok today. It's not only attracted the locals to visit, but also the tourists from all over the world.

After You是一家无需多做介绍的甜点咖啡馆。它不仅仅是一个品牌，一个咖啡馆… 它是曼谷的一个标志。这是一家以涩谷蜂蜜吐司，日式刨冰和煎饼等招牌甜点闻名的甜点咖啡馆。自2007年开设第一家咖啡厅以来，该品牌如今在曼谷已拥有约30家门店。它不仅吸引了当地人到访，而且吸引了来自世界各地的游客。

Since the first time I'd it at Siam Paragon, Bangkok, I totally fell in love with it, especially for their delectably-sweet thick toast, even though I'd tried a lot from other brands. I'm so excited when I heard that it's going to open in Hatyai in this June (which the state is near to my hometown). Therefore, during my recent trip to Hatyai, I decided to pay a visit again.

自从我第一次在曼谷的Siam Paragon品尝过以后，我就完全爱上了它，尤其是他们家甜甜厚厚的烤土司（即使我已尝试过很多其他品牌的烤土司）。当我听说它将在今年6月在合艾开张（该地方靠近我的家乡）时，我感到非常兴奋。因此，在我最近的合艾之旅中，我决定再次到访。

As you probably can see from the photo, the shop is crowded, no matter inside or outside of the shop. Not only because the shop is a new opening or it's the only outlet in Southern Thailand, but its other stores in Bangkok are also always packed too. From the time I received my reservation number until the time I make the order, it took me exactly an hour of waiting time (15:55 - 16:55). Nevertheless, the wait was worth it. Haha :)

从照片中你会看到，无论店内还是店外，都挤满了人。这不是因为它是新开业的或是泰国南部唯一的商店，其实，它在曼谷的其他店也总是挤满了人。从我收到预订号到下订单为止，我整整花了一个小时的等待时间（15:55-16:55）。然而，它是值得等待的。哈哈 :)

After the order made, you may help yourself at the bar counter for the complimentary free-flow tea. It's good to have to overcome the sweetness of the dessert. Moreover, it's not a "poor-quality-tasteless" tea, it's kinda like a scented tea. Albeit it looks crowded, but the foods were served not long after we placed the order.

下单后，你可以在店内的小桌子上取免费畅饮的茶。清香的茶配上甜甜的甜品真是绝配。这免费的茶甚至还不是那种“劣质无味”的茶。虽然店里的顾客很多，但是我们的食物在下单不久后就上桌了。

Taste: 8.0 (1 bad → 10 good)

The Hojicha Kaigori we ordered is really tasty. The Hojicha shaved ice is packed with the tea jelly and topped with the cream and Injeolmi (roasted soybean powder). Even though it doesn't look vibrant but I really love this because the shaved ice has a bold Hojicha taste and its not too sweet. In addition, the texture of the shaved ice is super refined and silky smooth without any single crushed ice.

我们点的焙茶日式刨冰真的很好吃。焙茶日式刨冰内放满了很多茶冻，而顶部就淋上了奶油和撒上了烤大豆粉。即使它看起来不怎么地，但我真的很爱，因为焙茶刨冰具有浓郁的焙茶味，而且不太甜。此外，刨冰的质地非常细腻，没有任何碎冰。

Taste: 8.0 (1 bad → 10 good)

As mentioned above, I totally fell in love with their delectably-sweet thick toast, so how I can leave it behind. Without considering the other toasts, I directly ordered my favourite Chocolate Toast with Strawberry. The reason that I dote on the toast is although it's thick but it's not dry. Instead, it's pillowy-soft and moisture inside. Apart from that, the toast is well-smeared with the aromatic butter. It's guaranteed to make you satisfied if you’ve got a sweet tooth.

如以上所述的，我非常喜欢After You那可口的厚土司，所以我怎么可能不吃呢？不考虑其它口味的吐司，我直接点了我最喜欢的草莓巧克力吐司。我喜欢这里的吐司的原因是虽然它很厚但却不会干。它吃起来很柔软。除此之外，吐司上还涂满了芳香黄油。如果你爱吃甜食，这会让你满意哦！

Apart from that, there are also some snacks, cookies, grab and go desserts, and merchandise is selling in the store.
