Pantai Cenang is the famous tourist spot with the picturesque beach in Langkawi where many diverse mixes of cafes and restaurants, as well as the souvenir shops, and duty-free outlets located. As my hometown is Kedah, Langkawi is the place that I visit frequently since I was a kid. Nevertheless, instead of staying at the 5-star hotel or high-end resorts that situated far away from the bustling area, I prefer to stay at the chalets or hotels that just right located on Cenang Beach so that I'm able to enjoy the beach activities that I love, such as sunbathing, jet-skiing, parasailing, etc.

珍南海滩是浮罗交怡有着风景如画的著名的旅游景点。在那里有许多不同的咖啡馆和餐馆，以及纪念品商店和免税商店。 由于我的家乡是吉打，兰卡威是我小时候经常旅游的地方。 然而，我不不喜欢住在远离繁华地区的五星级酒店或高端度假村，我喜欢入住位于珍南海滩的小木屋或酒店，这样我才能享受我喜欢的海滩活动，如日光浴，水上摩托艇，滑翔伞等。

For my recent trip, I stayed in a new hotel that I never stay before - Cenang Beach Plaza Hotel with a simple yet modern design. Cenang Beach Plaza Hotel is a 3-star hotel that built in 2012 with 2 floors and 45 rooms and suites... which include Standard Street Facing Room, Deluxe Street Facing Room, Standard Beach Facing Room, Deluxe Beach Facing Room, Suprima Suite, and Iriz Suite.

I love its strategic location as it's smacked right in the middle of a Cenang Beach. The shopping mall is just situated across the road and the beach is just behind. In addition, the first two levels of the building have pretty much commercial entities (like Pizza Hut, Subway, duty-free outlet, barber, etc). Apart from that, there is also a multitude of restaurants and services besides the hotel ready to serve you.

We're given the cold towels to freshen up during check-in and before we leave, we're given a soft drink. Since we reached earlier, so we just check-in first and waiting and waiting for the call at Starbucks Coffee opposite until 3pm (the standard check-in time). However, the check-in time is approaching and we still don't get any call from the hotel, so I confirm with the reception once again. They told me only one room is ready (I booked 2 rooms), another room is still cleaning (at 3pm?). Fine, I'll get one room first.


我们在办理入住手续时，酒店给我们每人准备一条冷毛巾降温，在我们离开之前，还给了我们每人一瓶汽水。 由于我们提前到达，所以我们先办理办理入住手续并在对街的星巴克等待酒店的来电。直到下午3点（标准入住时间），入住时间即将到来，我们仍然没有接到酒店的任何电话，所以我再次与接待处确认。 他们告诉我只有一个房间准备好了（我预订了2个房间），另一个房间还在打扫卫生（下午3点？）。 好吧，我会先入住一个房间。

I stayed in the Standard Beach Facing Room, a 22 square metres room with the beach facing private balcony that equipped with a comfortable large king bed, rain shower bathroom, a see-through wardrobe, a working desk and the standard necessities like mini fridge, safe, 40-inch flat screen television, two complimentary bottles of mineral water, sachets of instant coffee and tea etc. Although the room is not big but it fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.


我住在标准面海客房，房间为22平方米的，有着面向海滩海滩的私人阳台，舒适的大型特大号床，花洒淋浴浴室，透明衣柜，办公桌和迷你冰箱等标准必需品，房里也设有40英寸平板电视，保险箱，两瓶免费矿泉水，速溶咖啡和茶等。虽然房间不大但是它配备了您所需的一切，让您享受舒适的住宿。

Bathroom-wise, I thought it's clean... the towel and toiletries are available in the bathroom too. The pressure of the shower water and the temperature of the water heater is satisfied as well. The only problem is the shower area is pretty limited. 


浴室方面，我认为它很干净......浴室里也有毛巾和洗浴用品。淋浴水的强度和热水的温度也令人满意。 唯一的不足的是淋浴区非常有限。

**I get another room at approximately 3:20pm. I'm quite disappointed not only for the late room check-in time; and also the room isn't the adjoining rooms as we required but luckily it's just one room between the two rooms.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied apart from the unpleasant waiting time and unachieved requirement. In particular, the cleanliness of the room because there is no any single sand although it's located on the beach. The chalet or hotel situated right on the beach that we stayed before is usually still sandy even after cleaning up. I would return again and expect the higher quality service from Cenang Plaza Beach Hotel.


总的来说，除了令人不快的等待时间和未实现的要求之外，我感到非常满意。 特别是房间的清洁，因为虽然它位于海滩上，但却没有任何沙子。 我们之前住在海滩上的小木屋或酒店通常在清理后仍然有少许的沙。 我会再次光顾，并期待Cenang Plaza Beach Hotel提供更优质的服务。
