Rollney Kurtos Kalacs 匈牙利烟囱卷 @ Aman Central, Alor Setar [GPS]

Originally known as Kürtőskalács, Kurtos Kalacs is one of the Hungarian pastries that come in a chimney-shape. Although it's not new in Malaysia but it's first in Alor Setar. It's now available at 4th Floor, Aman Central. Unlike the one I ate before, Rollney brought the Kurtos Kalacs into another level by combining it with the soft serve ice-cream. You may either choose to have the Kurtos Kalacs by itself or along with the soft serve ice-cream.

Kurtos Kalacs最初被称为Kürtőskalács，是匈牙利烟囱状的糕点之一。虽然匈牙利烟囱卷并不是在马来西亚刚推出，但它却刚在亚罗士打出售。与我之前吃的不同，Rollney将Kurtos Kalacs与冰淇淋相结合，将其带入了另一个层次。你可以选择单独享用Kurtos Kalacs或与冰淇淋一起享用。

There are 4 flavours of Kurtos Kalacs available in the store and 2 different flavors of soft serve ice-cream. However, for those who like to have the Kurtos Kalacs with the soft serve ice-cream may only choose it from the 5 predetermined menus... they can't mix it their own.

商里提供了4种口味的Kurtos Kalacs和2种不同口味的冰淇淋。然而，对于那些想要一起享用冰淇淋和Kurtos Kalacs的人来说，他们只能从5个预定的菜单中选择它... 他们不能自己选择味道与配料。

As a Matcha lover, I'll definitely pick Matcha Crunch Cone... the Matcha Kurtos cone is topped with the vanilla ice-cream, Matcha sauce, and Matcha KitKat. Besides that, there are also some oreo crumbs and cornflakes stuffed inside the Kurtos Kalacs.

作为抹茶爱好者，我绝对会选择Matcha Crunch Cone ...... 抹茶Kurtos Kalacs配上香草冰淇淋，抹茶酱和抹茶KitKat。除此之外，Kurtos Kalacs内还有一些奥利奥屑和玉米片。

Taste: 7.0 (1 bad → 10 good)

It tastes totally different as the one I had a few years ago at Kurtos Spiroll, Gurney Paragon, Penang. The latter provides both savoury and sweet varieties and I personally prefer the savoury series like Cheesy Chicken Salami. It's best served and savored while it’s still hot to ensure its softness and fluffiness inside with a slightly crispy outer layer. 

它的味道与我几年前在槟城Gurney Paragon的Kurtos Spiroll吃的完全不同。后者提供了咸味和甜味的Kurtos Kalacs，我个人更喜欢像Cheesy Chicken Salami这样的咸味系列。它最好是在刚出炉，热的时候品尝，以确保内部柔软蓬松与外层微脆的口感。

Although the Kurtos Kalacs served at Rollney is quite good with its soft texture but the taste is quite disappointing me (for my choice) as the Matcha taste on the Kurtos Kalacs is weak. As you can see in the photo, the portion of the sugar on the Kurtos Kalacs is much than the Matcha powder. Besides that, the Original soft serve ice-cream is too sweet for me as well. Overall, it's not that bad but not outstanding either.

虽然Rollney的Kurtos Kalacs不错，质地很柔软但是味道相当令人失望（根据我的选择），因为Kurtos Kalacs的抹茶很弱。正如照片中看到的那样，Kurtos Kalacs上的糖部分比抹茶粉更多。除此之外，原味的冰淇淋对我来说太甜了。总的来说，它并没有那么糟糕，但也并突出。
