Hin Pop-Up Market 興公司周日快閃文創市集 @ Penang [GPS]

[EN|中] Built in 1947, Hin Bus Depot is owned by Hin Bus that used to ply the Tanjung Bungah and Teluk Bahang routes. After the company closed down, it has now become a community art space that supports and nurtures emerging artists by providing a channel for their creativity.

Hin Bus Depot建于1947年，由Hin Bus拥有，曾经是Tanjung Bungah和Teluk Bahang路线的所在地。在公司倒闭后，它现在已经成为一个通过提供创造力的渠道来支持和培养新兴艺术家社区艺术空间。

As like Aussie and England, there is also a Pop Up Market set up here every Sunday from 11am to 5pm. The market is possessed with homemade foods and desserts, handcrafted souvenirs and jewelry, clothes, and other handicrafts displayed with the music from the busking in the background.

There is assorted Nyonya Kuih from Little Nyonya Bites selling there at RM 1 per piece. The Ice-Kacang Kuih is very special with an appealing color. Brown sugar is on the top layer and followed by the coconut milk with cendol, corn and red bean. For the Kuih Seri Muka, it's the combination of the Kuih Talam and Pulut Tai-Tai. The pandan layer is paired with the glutinous rice instead of the coconut pudding. Both of the said Nyonya Kuih are really delicious and not too sweet with the soft and spongy texture.


市场里也又出售来自Little Nyonya Bites的娘惹糕点。每件只需要RM 1。 Ice-Kacang Kuih非常特别，具有吸引人的颜色。红糖位于顶层，其次是煎蕊椰子汁，玉米和红豆。对于Kuih Seri Muka来说，它是Kuih Talam和Pulut Tai-Tai的组合。香兰层是与糯米配对的，而不是椰子布丁。这两款Nyonya Kuih都非常美味，不太甜，柔软而有弹性。

Kimbap is a Korean dish made from cooked rice and other ingredients that are rolled in the dried sheets of nori seaweed and served in bite-sized slices. The Kimbap that selling here look authentic but taste quite light and dry. 


Kimbap是一种韩国菜，由煮熟的米饭和其他成分制成，并以紫菜卷成一长卷，在切成一口大小。在这里卖的Kimbap看起来很正宗，但它的口感非常的干，以及味道稍微淡了一些。

Falafel Wrap is the vegan food with the fritters that made from the ground chickpeas or fava beans are wrapped in the pita and stuffed with assorted greens and tahini sauce. The taste of the Falafel Wrap is pretty good. In addition, it's made on spot. Hence, it tastes even better with the fresh and crunchy greens and crispy fritters.

Falafel Wrap是素食食物，由鹰嘴豆或蚕豆制成的，然后再包入皮塔饼中，塞满各种蔬菜和芝麻酱。Falafel Wrap的味道非常好。另外，它是现场制作的。因此，蔬菜非常的鲜脆，炸料也很酥脆。

Last but not least, there is also an assorted Homemade Chiffon Cake selling at Hin Bus Depot by Night Owl. For example, Orange, Lychee & Rose, Matcha Azuki White Chocolate, Bailey Chocolate Cake and so on. Matcha Cake that we bought is airy, bouncy and slightly sweet with the bold matcha taste. Price-wise, I thought it's quite cheap - only RM 5 per piece. Highly recommended.

最后，Hin Bus Depot也有由Night Owl出售的各种各样的自制戚风蛋糕。例如，Orange, Lychee & Rose, Matcha Azuki White Chocolate, Bailey Chocolate Cake等。我们买的抹茶蛋糕松软有弹性，及略带甜味和浓厚的抹茶味。价格方面，我觉得它很便宜 - 每件只需RM 5。强烈推荐。
