London Duck 倫敦烤鴨 @ Gurney Plaza [GPS]

ツ [EN|中] London Duck (伦敦烤鸭) is a Cantonese restaurant that famous with the roasted duck. In addition to the famous roasted duck, crispy pork, BBQ pork, soy chicken and a wide range of Cantonese dishes are also available in the restaurant.

伦敦烤鸭是一间以烤鸭闻名的广东式餐厅。店里除了以烤鸭闻名以外，还出售脆皮烧肉，烧鸡，叉烧及一系列的广东式料理。

After we placed the order, each of us received a bowl of soup without charge while waiting for our foods. Although it’s dinner time but the serving time is quite fast. We received Three Combination of Roast Meat Noodles (三拼烧味面) as soon as we finished the soup. The Roast Meats (Crispy Pork, BBQ Pork and Roast Duck) are as good as expected but the noodles are not suited to my liking as it’s over thin.

Next dish coming up is the main reason that led me to pay a visit to London Duck. It's Crispy Aromatic Duck with Pancakes (香酥鸭)! Since the first time I ate it at somewhere else, I totally fell in love into this Crispy Aromatic Duck. Unlike the Peking Duck, this is crispier and saltier, and I personally prefer this as you'll not feel greasy even though you eat a lot.

接下来的一道菜是我光顾伦敦鸭的主要原因，就是脆皮芳香鸭与煎饼皮！ 自从我第一次在其他地方吃过以后，我完全爱上了这款脆皮芳香鸭。 与北京烤鸭不同，它吃起来比较脆，也比较咸，我个人更喜欢这种，因为即使吃多了也不会感到油腻。

We also had Braised Homemade Bean Curd with Shimeji Mushroom, Chinese Spinach and minced meat (菘菇苋菜肉酱扒自制豆腐) as recommended. The homemade bean curd is tender and tastes good along with the combination of the mushroom and the thickened sauce.

除此之外，我们也点了菘菇苋菜肉酱扒自制豆腐。 自制的豆腐很嫩，加上蘑菇和浓稠的酱汁使得这道菜很美味。

Lastly, we ended up our meal with Mixed Seafood Fried Rice in Lotus Leaf . Although it looks attractive but it's very disappointing. The taste of the fried rice is very light, it's better to swap it into the white rice. In addition, the seafood inside the fried rice is almost rare.

最后，我们最后也点了荷叶海鲜炒饭。 虽然它看起来很有吸引力，但却非常令人失望，因为炒饭的味道很淡，更好换成白米饭。 此外，炒饭内的海鲜几乎是罕见的。

After finished all the dishes, we received the Herbal Jelly (Gui Ling Gao) as dessert for free before leaving too. In short, although not all the dishes are as great as we thought but we might come back again for the other luscious dishes and also the signature Peking Duck with the pancake.
