Mercato Finally Open Its Door in Penang @ Gurney Plaza, Penang [GPS]

Premium grocery store, Mercato has finally opened its 3rd outlet in Penang after Kuala Lumpur. It's now located at LG Floor, Gurney Plaza (used to be Cold Storage). The store has a darker ambiance now. It's designed with the theme of black and red brick wall with wooden shelves. You should check this new supermarket out because it's quite different and unique as compared to the other supermarkets in Penang.

高档超市Mercato终于在吉隆坡之后在槟城开设了第三家分店。它现在就位于Gurney Plaza 地下一层营业（以前的Cold Storage）。现在这家超市的气氛较暗，它的设计是以黑色和红色砖墙以及木货架为主。它是一间值得你一探究竟的新超市，因为它与槟城其他超市相比有很大不同和独特之处。

Apart from the usual household, beauty and food products, Mercato offers many products that you can only find over there. For instance, freshly-pressed fruit juices, herbs garden, fried ice-cream, organic food, customised nuts spread, and also a wide selection of wine and cheese. Noteworthy is Mercato sells many premium products in the store too, like A5 Wagyu Beef, Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac and live seafood like lobster.

The most favourite area of mine is their bakery that sells a wide range of low glycemic index (GI) and gluten-free bread, such as Muesli Bread, Kraftkorn Bread, Flexi Grain Bread, Whole Wheat Baguette and so on. Besides that, there are so many delectable pastries available there.

我最喜欢的区域就是面包区啦！这里有出售各种低血糖指数（GI）和无麸质面包，例如麦片面包，卡夫面包，软谷物面包，全麦法棍等。除此之外，这里也有许多美味的面包糕点。
