Hong Kong 8am (港室八点钟) @ Lorong Macalister, Penang

Hong Kong-style Cha Chan Teng (restaurant) is no stranger to Penangites because there are already many restaurants with the same concept available in town... Hong Kong 8am is one of those. It's the Hong Kong-style restaurant located at Hutton Lane since June 2017. The design of the shop is relatively simple... there is only a large picture of Hong Kong's street on the wall. Space and seating are limited too. For the menu, although I thought that the price is wallet-friendly but the choices are limited. There are only Egg Tarts, Polo Bun, Pork Bun and Noodles with a variety of dishes.

香港风格的茶餐厅对槟城人并不陌生，因为城里已有很多相同的概念的餐厅......港式八点钟就是其中之一。 港式八点钟是位于Hutton Lane的香港风格餐厅，自2017年6月起开始营业。店铺的设计相对简单......墙上只有香港街道的图片作为装饰。 空间和座位也是有限的。 对于菜单，虽然我认为价格便宜，但选择有限。 这里只有蛋挞，菠萝包，猪肉包和各种仰视的面条。

Pork Chop Noodle (Dry), the tender yet juicy pork choice is served with the springy and bouncy noodles in the soy sauce and dark soy sauce, and some greens. Even though the price is indeed affordable, but I thought the dark soy sauce is too overwhelming. It has totally ruined the overall taste of the noodles.

猪扒全蛋面（干），猪扒鲜嫩多汁，面条有弹性，搭配酱油和黑酱油，以及一些蔬菜。 虽然价格实惠，但我认为黑酱油太多了，完全破坏了面条的整体味道。

The homemade Polo Bun is one of the dishes highly recommended by Hong Kong 8am... when you visit their page (Facebook), you might found there is a lot of posts related to the Polo Bun. However, it did not taste as good as we expected. The texture of the polo bun is the same as the soggy bread, and the butter comes with a thin sliced. The bun is not hot and warm neither to melt the butter.

自制的菠萝包是港式八点钟推荐的菜肴之一...若您访问其页面（Facebook）时，您会发现有很多与菠萝包相关的帖子。 然而，它的味道并不像我们预期的那么好。 菠萝包的质地与浸湿的面包相同，而黄油薄。 面包不热也不暖，不能融化黄油。

For the egg tart, although it's alright but rather bland. It is just a normal egg tart that could buy somewhere else. The Frozen Milk Tea that serving at Hong Kong 8am is alright as well, smooth and silky but not unique.
